The restaurant at Yorebridge House in Bainbridge, North Yorkshire, has retained its three AA Rosettes for culinary excellence, marking twelfth consecutive years of recognition by the AA’s prestigious awards scheme.
Led by Head Chef Dan Shotton, the kitchen team at Yorebridge House has consistently met the standards required for the award, which recognises restaurants achieving the highest levels of cooking, ingredient sourcing and consistency. The three Rosette rating is awarded to establishments that demonstrate technical skill and ambition, and where the cooking is deemed to be of national standard.
Yorebridge House is one of a small number of restaurants in the region to hold three AA Rosettes. The recognition follows a series of recent commendations for the hotel and its dining offering, which has become known for modern British menus rooted in seasonal, locally sourced produce.
Head Chef Dan Shotton said: “We’re over the moon to have retained the award for another year. It reflects the work put in by the team every day and our focus on delivering a high standard of food and service.”
The hotel has also been awarded the AA Notable Wine List Award for the eleventh consecutive year, recognising its extensive collection of wines, many of which are available to enjoy by the glass. Alongside this, Yorebridge House continues to hold its 5-star Restaurant with Rooms status from the AA, with thirteen individually designed bedroom suites offering a luxury stay in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
The news comes as Yorebridge House enters a new chapter under the ownership of sibling team Joanne Dwyer & David Whitehead, who recently took over the running of the hotel and restaurant.
