Located in the historic Old Grammar School building, just across the courtyard from the main house, Carabeo is a tranquil first-floor retreat that perfectly blends rustic charm with refined elegance. This beautifully appointed luxury hotel suite in Yorkshire can be arranged as a large double or twin, and is styled in soft creams and pale greys for a calming, sun-drenched feel. Ornate chandeliers and exposed beams bring warmth and character, while Georgian windows frame sweeping views of the surrounding Dales.

Your own private staircase leads you up to the suite, where you’ll find a bathroom designed for true indulgence. Sink into the freestanding roll-top bath and enjoy peaceful views of the River Ure through a perfectly placed low-set window; or refresh in the walk-in shower before an evening of fine dining or countryside exploration.

Carabeo is a restful space that feels both timeless and transportive – a peaceful haven in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
